Double Identity by Margret Peterson Haddix, the main character, Bethany over-hears a conversation that her "Aunt" Myrlie talk to Bethany's father about "Elizabeth." However, Bethany is completely bewildered as to who Elizabeth is and why it is such a big secret. She over-hears many things like Myrlie saying, "But I have to be so careful about what I say around Bethany...If you remember, I never was very good at keeping secrets. Or lying." The only thing left for Bethany to do is figure out who Elizabeth is.
